Welcome to Opportunity Ally

Opportunity Ally is a christian based non profit organization (501c3) establish in January of 2020 located in Conyers, Ga. Our mission is to make a positive impact in society by being the hands and feet of Jesus. Through Mentorship, Life coaching , Discipleship, Food distribution, and community outreach. We believe we can impact our community for the better one person at a time. Through Church in the Street  our urban evangelism ministry we have impacted thousands of people since 2017. Ministering in the streets, churches, prisons, and juveniles we have seen the transforming power of Christ change lives. 

According to the National Institute of Justice, about 68 percent of 405,000 prisoners released in 30 states in 2005 were arrested for new crime within three years of their release from prison , and 77 percent were arrested within five years. By giving returning citizens the advantages of the resources of educational and vocational training, as well as life coaching. Opportunity Ally believes we can lower the recidivism rate well enhancing our participants quality of life by giving them the resources to reposition themselves in society. 

    Our goal is to reduce recidivism and train workers to develop skills that can raise their value to the work place. We will do that by: 1) partnering with transitional centers to find people who need what we offer. 2) By finding companies who share our values to give individuals a second chance (or a hand up if you will). 3.) Showing Companies the benefits of hiring federally bonded (High risk employees) to give back to the community and better society. We also believe it is important to offer training opportunities to individuals who have been in the work place but feel stuck at low end positions making lowly wages. We believe that by training individuals to make more money we will be able to give them a better chance to succeed in society, to be better husbands, sons, daughters, and wives . Our goal is also to find people who are under educated and unskilled who are ready for greater opportunities and provide resources, programs, training , and jobs to assist them.
